Through the exhibition of faithful reproductions of instrument of torture used during the Middle Age and in Inquisition trials, it is possible to examine the reasons and the devices by which men have inflicted tortures to other men for ages. History can explain present atrocities, hoping that knowledge will not allow torture in the future.

The exhibition consists of:
- 78 paintings
- 60 instruments
- 47 reading-stands with information in two languages to learn about the use of the instruments and the history of Inquisition.
The exhibition requires a covered area of at least 200 sm. conveniently lit, with the possibility of hanging all the paintings to the walls.
